Mudras-Duets (2003) is Pedro's first record to be entirely dedicated to duets.
It includes some of his best collaborations to date. Some of them were originally released on the records of the respective artists, whilst others were especially recorded for this project.
The closing song is a very special version of The Beatles' "Tomorrow Never Knows", recorded according to an idea John Lennon had in 1966, which could not be accomplished on the original session: to sing it suspended in the air, rotating. For that purpose, the group "De La Guarda" was contacted, and they provided their know-how of aerial technique. Recorded as a performance (audio and video at the same time), the special atmosphere of the event was brilliantly captured: 12 musicians playing in a circle while Pedro "flew over" them 20 feet high, singing the words based on the Tibetan Book of the Dead.
